The Food is good but for Vegan Menu I was little bit disappointed because what I know there’s many Indonesian ingredients that we can used for another choice of Vegan for the same taste.
Highly recommended! I decided to let myself be surprised by the chef with a 5-course menu and, my God! everything was delicious! Generous portions, quality food and excellent service. The waitress was SUPER friendly and attentive. They also have very good cocktails. I will definitely return to this place.
Beautifully decorated restaurant in the city center. Very good food but small portions (even the mains) and very slow service, although friendly.
You have the option of driving in or on their terrace. I highly recommend booking a table in advance.
This was an UNFORGETTABLE experience! We decided to go for dinner and although we hadn't booked (which I recommend if you want to sit inside) the staff did their best to accommodate us and find us a table under the roof outside. Overall, the staff was friendly and attentive and were able to communicate in English and explain the menu🍛We ordered the chef’s special 13 course recommendation which basically consists of small bowls with various mini dishes. We got a taste of absolutely everything from various meats to vegetables. As a veggie I definitely felt that there was plenty to choose from. So we shared everything together, which I love❤️ so it was kinda like a Javaneese Tapas. The food was out of this world! Absolutely delicious and worth it! The best Indonesian food I ate ever since I travelled around Indonesia. Highly recommended! 👌🏻
Pleasantly surprised and very pleased eating here. Had a lunch in Alkmaar city center during high season and choose this restaurant because craving something Asian.
The services was super nice since the begining, the atmosphere actually pleasant just that we came during peak holiday season so it was reasonably pack.
We ordered a rijsttafel (rice set) for 2 and boy, weren't we pleasantly surprised 👌👌👌 it was surely Dutchified version of Indonesian dishes (meaning, less herbal, less spicy, alternative Dutch friendly greens, softer taste in general) there was zero dissapointments. They know how to make it their own flavorful good rendition of Indo dishes. The chef even took the time to come to our table to explain a couple dish within the rijsttafel
The portions were also considerably generous, I remember thinking I wouldn't need dinner after this 🌟🌟🌟 Twas so great.
If you're looking for chill family lunch and don't want to wait till dinner for a big meal, do come here and take your time savoring the dishes. The price of course more steep than a regular lunch budget but it's worth it

Nice bar & restaurant, nice fast and friendly service, good food and atmosphere
We had 2 big rijstafel menu and 3 ala cart dishes, one of them was KFC - Korean Fried Cauliflowers - photo below - very interesting concept and interesting taste but it's really good actually.
The drinks, especially the cocktails were 😋 😋 😋
The food was great, environment was warm and welcoming, the staffs were friendly.
Definitely come back again whenever I am in Alkmaar
